Lir Business Services & Training Centre is registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC Awards in the National Framework of Qualifications.

FETAC - The Further Education and Training Awards Council is the national awarding body for further education and training providers in Ireland. Organizations that come under its brief include both public and private sectors including FAS, Teagasc, Fáilte Ireland, VEC, Institutes of Technology, BIM and now private course providers like Lir Business Services & Training Centre.

2010 FETAC Monitoring Conclusion states that... "findings indicate that the quality assurance procedures of Lir Business Services & Training Centre are effective in maintaining and improving the quality of programmes and services and that Lir Business Services & Training Centre and staff are commended on good quality practices".

CDP is the mechanism for funding/subsidising training for people in employment, with up to 70% subsidy. CDP is funded through the European Social Fund, National Training Fund and Exchequer Funding.

The Minister for Enterprise Trade & Employment, in exercise of the power conferred on her by Section 3 of the Employment Agency Act, 1971 (no. 27 of 1971) has authorised LIR Business Services & Training Centre to carry on the the business of an Employment Agency at 42 Mount Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
