Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
This
course provided me with what exactly I was looking for and that was
the knowledge of classroom and course organisation and how to teach
in a classroom environment.
I have the confidence now to promote myself as a Computer
Trainer and thanks to Frances Gallagher, my Train the Trainer Tutor,
for all her help.
Sharon
Fox, I.T. Trainer (September, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
At
the beginning of the course I was very apprehensive, but Frances and
all at Lir Business Services & Training Centre made me feel very
welcome and at ease. The
preparation that was made to put this course together was clear for
all to see. Attention to
detail was second to none and you could see how passionate and
focused Frances
is during each class. Each
class was very interesting and every day passed so quickly, that has
to be a good sign. With
this course you have to put in the hours at home also, but I found it
very interesting and challenging.
When I got my results I know Frances
was as happy as I was which shows how passionate she is, also during
the course she was also only a phone call or email away and she
always replied promptly with any issues or difficulties I might have had.
I would have no difficulty in recommending Lir Business
Services & Training Centre, Mullingar to anyone, in fact I have
already, again, thanks to Frances and all the team.
Donal
Lawless, Tiling Contractor/Trainer.
(September, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Frances
Gallagher is a very professional and knowledgeable Tutor.
She has an empathetic nature and imparts knowledge while making sure
that her students understand what she teaches.
I looked forward to doing my Train the Trainer course every Thursday,
because I met some really nice people and learned so much.
Frances
gave the class plenty of relevant, informative handouts and from the
start prepared us for our 15 minute Skills Demonstration on our
chosen course to teach which terrified me!
She put us all at ease and everyone did very well.
I would definitely recommend the Train the Trainer course.
I gained confidence in myself and my abilities as a teacher
thanks to Frances.
Rachel Reilly Communications Trainer (Mullingar).
(September, 2011).
Train

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
have completed the Train the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6 course in
Monaghan through Lir Business Services & Training Centre.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Frances
Gallagher for the dedication and support that she gave to me
throughout the course. But
also this support was given to each individual within the group.
Frances
was at the end of the phone day or night.
Emails were also replied to immediately.
The most important thing to a Learner is to have a Tutor who
is confident in delivering the course but who also shows care,
patience and believe in their group and Frances delivers on these
things from day one of meeting her.
I will be contacting Lir Business Centre for information on other
courses that are available because I have had such a good experience
in how this course was delivered which made it easier for me as a Learner.
Thank you Frances, so much.
Santina
Burns, Trainer, (Monaghan)(June, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:

confidence as I was nervous at the start. It was a very enjoyable
experience and is definitely worth the money. Ciaran

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
must say I was pleasantly surprised when I received this news, then
again on mature reflection on this course, the contents and how they
were delivered it should not really be a surprise.
Just
goes to prove once again you can teach an old dog something new, well
in my case anyway.
Thanks a mill
for all the advice, help and encouragement during the course and assignment.
Yes I would be
interested in additional courses and please feel free to forward
details, date, venues etc.
James
Mulholland, Manual Handling, Trainer (Clones) (May 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
would like to say I found the course thoroughly enjoyable and
everything that I thought it would be it wasnt.
The tutor was excellent in her delivery using many different
styles so the classes never became boring and stale. This enhanced
our learning and made it easier to learn. I would certainly recommend
the course through Frances Gallagher, Lir Business Services &
Training Centre, and hope to cross paths with them again in the future.
Many thanks again for everything. Peter
Lynch, Sports/Trainer, (May 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
This
was one of the most professionally run courses I have ever
experienced (Train the Trainer FETAC Level 6). The tutor always had
the learners needs at the heart of the session and gave
exceptional back up on assignments. Barry
Dolan, B.E.S.T. Sports and Youth Development/Trainer, (May 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Thanks
a million for all the support through the course. I feel the
atmosphere created by Frances (trainer) throughout the course was one
of mutual respect and facilitated peer learning as well as learning
from the course. The course opened my mind to additional personal
development and career opportunities. I felt inspired and motivated
to pursue a dream I had of starting my own business as a facilitator
and trainer. I am in the early stages of doing this and the ongoing
support and advice from Frances and the team in Lir has been great.
Hopefully you will see EC solutions in the future but presently
starting small as Elaine
Clerkin, Trainer and Facilitator (May, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
would like to thank Frances
for all her support and encouragement throughout the Train the
Trainer course. At times I felt like dropping out but Frances
encouraged me and discussed any fears I had with putting my stuff
together. I have already recommended people to apply for the Train
the Trainer course, which is being held in Castleblayney soon. So
wishing Frances
well in the future and thanking her again for everything she did for
me in succeeding to accomplish my achievement.
Marie Ward, Trainer - specialising in Counselling (May, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
The
training course which was very detailed and demanding was presented
in a manner that allowed the trainee to understand and prepare
themselves for delivering a professional presentation and other
relevant paperwork in completion of the exam.
The trainers experience highlighted the main topics of
the exam in an easy to understand way with excellent communication
skills, putting at ease all the trainees and was the perfect example
on how a trainer delivers a training programme with all the different
personalities in the class motivated to demonstrate their skills as
well as how to overcome the their weaker skills. The most important
aspect of the training was how accessible the trainer was after hours
by phone to assist and assure trainees with their assignments. Charles
Roarty, Manager/Trainer, Dublin.
(May, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
found the Train the Trainer course from Lir Business Services &
Training Centre, extremely beneficial. Since attending the course I
have gone onto use many of the tips and teaching methods explained
during the course and I have found that learners have a greater
concentration span due to this. I found the class interesting and
brought away a lot of knowledge on completion of the course. The
trainer had a vast knowledge base which was great to utilise when
completing the assignment.
All in all, a very worthwhile course.
Grainne Beattie, Nurse/Trainer, Dublin,
(May 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:

psychology behind it, and our excellent trainer, Frances Gallagher,
seamlessly connected with developmental concepts in holistic medicine.

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
The
Train the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6 course provided me with the tools
and knowledge to prepare any class.
Although I have lots of experience delivering classes, since

Overall
I found the course thoroughly enjoyable and easy to follow.
Each class was thoughtfully planned and carried out along
with vital and easy to follow handouts.

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
found the course both enjoyable and uplifting.
The Tutor, Frances Gallagher, has a great working knowledge
of the subject. She
showed great patience and understanding when dealing with the wide
variety of queries from her Learners.
The course covered all aspects of training required to become
a more competent and confident trainer.
I would strongly recommend anyone to participate in this
course, as they would find it most helpful in pursuing a career in training.
Sam
Bolger, Trainer in Computer Literacy and I.T. Skills, Dublin

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
This
course was excellent, having done an instructors course in the fire
service to train recruits and deliver
training in new methods Train the Trainer not only reaffirmed
what I knew but provided me with additional knowledge and skills that
will be of great benefit to me. Frances the trainer was excellent in
her knowledge and approach to the course. She has a great ability of
making everyone feel included and helped everyone to come out of
their comfort zone and take the next step. The course notes and
handouts where excellent and I will be placing Frances Gallagher Lir
Training in many an Acknowledgement section. The assignments where
well spaced out and Frances
was always available to help and guide you on where to get relevant
information from to enable you achieve your highest potential. Eddie
Tackney, Workplace Safety, Fire Safety, Clones (Mar, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
How
do you put into words the thanks I would like to communicate to
Frances and the team at Lir for the ease at which they pass on such knowledge?
I was always one for asking loads of questions, they were never stuck
for answers, some of these questions had been nagging me for a long
time and to get the answers was worth coming on the course just for that!
I have been on two courses with Lir Business Services &
Training Centre so far the first was Spreadsheets
(FETAC) Level 5,
and all I can say is that since this course I have never stopped
using the knowledge learned and have added a considerable amount more since.
The second course was Train the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6
again, I cannot single out what it is about this course that it has
given me, from planning, evaluating, methods of facilitating, insight
knowledge, etc., you can go on and on and it doesnt end after
the course. Frances
has always been available by phone or email to answer any queries
even after the course has ended.
Lir have since started using social media sites which is a
great way to keep in touch.
Nothing stands still and to keep up to date with knowledge and
learning you should up-skill, keep your mind active (lifelong
learning) no matter what your age you owe it to yourself.
Thanks Lir for putting the bounce back into my stride.
See you soon and keep up the good work.
Kevin OReilly, MCIOB, Trainer (March 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:

I
completed the Digital Photography course at Lir Business Services

I found the tutor, assignments, visual aids and materials
excellent and very relevant.
As a result of this course I learned a lot of things that I
did not know existed in the photography world.
I found the length of the course just right and the course
met my expectations very well as it has given me new ideas about what
photography is all about. At
Lir you are taught your course in a professional way.

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
am excited at achieving the Train the Trainer course with distinction. Wow!
The wait is over and now to get a start at training a class
in 2011. I thought the
course was wonderful. I
should have done it years sooner.
I did not know what the course Train the Trainer meant and how
beneficial it would be to have in getting employment.
It was a challenge and I love a challenge.
The weather was desperate from we started until we finished
so that was a challenge in itself driving on the slippery
roads from Longford. We
received a friendly welcome and tea/coffee and biscuits when we
arrived and we were like one big happy family.
Our confidence grew at each session and what a difference
between the first day we started to the last day we had to go our
separate ways. Our Tutor,
Frances Gallagher, took us through step by step and has delivery of
the course perfected to a fine art.
I am looking forward to teaching my first class in 2011 and I
feel confident and competent in doing so, having completed Train the
Trainer (FETAC) Level 6 course with Lir Business Centre, Mullingar,
with Frances Gallagher. Anne
(Nancy)
Carr, IT Trainer, Granard, Co. Longford. (February, 2011).
Train

ensure everyone is comfortable and engaged throughout the course.
Frances
was also always available with quick responses to questions afterwards.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering training
others. Flori
Boyle, IT Trainer (Feb, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Many
thanks to Lir Business Services & Training Centre, especially my

Lir Business Services & Training Centre to anyone requiring such training.
The course was given to a very high standard with regards to
the quality of the subject matter covered, facilities used, materials
handed out and the professionalism of the trainer. I found the whole
experience very rewarding on both a professional and a personal
level. During the course I always felt that the trainer had a genuine
interest in my progress and quickly responded to any questions or
difficulties that I had. When the need arises for further training I
know Lir Business Centre will be my first port of call.
Phelim

A
very good and informative course that is invaluable if you wish to
become a trainer. Caroline
Hogan, IT Trainer (Feb. 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
found the Train the Trainer course completely invaluable to the
courses I run in Art & Crafts.
It gave me insight and understanding for both trainer and learner.
I would recommend it to anyone wanting to run courses in
their own field no matter what their previous training or experience.
I would also like to mention our trainer, Frances Gallagher,
who was everything you would need and more that you would expect from
a good trainer. Her help,
encouragement and patience is outstanding.
Julianna

Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Just
a short note just to thank my tutor, Frances Gallagher, for all her
help on the Train the Trainer could which I completed with Lir
Business Services and Training Centre.
Having Frances
as my tutor made all the difference to me.
Im not overly educated having left school at 13 years
of age. Therefore to pass
the Train the Trainer course with a Distinction is a big achievement
for me. The way Frances
went in to detail and explained every detail of the course and was
available at all times to help via email, phone, text, and personally
in her office, was a major help to my achieving my certification.
Without all her help and explanations on how to go about
being a qualified Trainer I know I wouldnt be a qualified
Trainer today. To
conclude, I would just like to thank Frances for her professional and
expert help in helping me to become a Trainer and I would recommend
her and her company, Lir Business Services and Training Centre, to
anyone wishing to become a Trainer.
Thanks again Frances
for getting me there. Tony
McGoey, Driver CPC/Trainer,
(Feb. 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
I
really enjoyed doing the Train the Trainer at Level 6 with you. It
was hard work but worth it in the end!
You were very professional with your teaching techniques and
were always there to help, no matter what time of day it was. This
was very encouraging from a learners point of view.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is
interested, and also to book it through your company, as they were
very professional to deal with at all times.
Orla
Murray, Trainer (Computer Literacy). (Feb, 2011).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:

As a result of this course, I hope to use my accounts
computer experience.
Kate ODonohoe, (Nov, 2010).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Our
unemployed Jobseekers come from a range of previous disciplines and
backgrounds, and therefore require a programme that can be adaptable
to their individual needs. Train the trainer has meant that we now
have an internal professional to deliver this preparation for work
programme, which is both flexible and professional and can include
new methods on how to source employment in the current economic
climate, preparation for interview, really understanding the job
description and identifying the best route to employment for oneself.
(Catherine Byrne, Manager, SWIC Local Employment Centre, Dublin 8).
Train
the Trainer (FETAC) Level 6:
Train
the trainer has given me the confidence and the skills to put
together a new tailor made programme to deliver in preparing
unemployed people for work. It has given me the opportunity as an
Employment Mediator to enhance my current skillset as a professional
when dealing with those most distanced from the current labour
market. The course was excellent as a result of the Tutor, Frances
Gallagher, being very well prepared at all times and the content was
always interesting and varied. It was delivered very professionally
and clearly the tutor practiced what she preached! Frances
is a friendly approachable tutor who is confident in delivering this
course and an excellent example for any trainee to aspire to in their
pursuit to become a successful trainer! I would highly recommend
Train the Trainer through Lir Business Services & Training Centre.
Margaret

work on a day-to-day basis in the office to make business better.
As a result of this course I can see new opportunities where
improvements can be made in the office and investigate new

I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.

This
was the best value course of any my son has done over the last few
Summers. His morning tuition was well thought out and the 'homework'
given kept him occupied each afternoon. He really enjoyed the course,
looking forward to learning new things each day. I am amazed with the
amount he learned in one week. B.

I
found the training course, trainer and venue to be excellent.
Frances
was very supportive to me throughout the course, very calming and
encouraging to the group. I

the course. I would

Reception
(FETAC) Level 5:
I
found Frances Gallagher, our Tutor, to have excellent communication
skills in delivering this course. I found the relevance of the course
to the work I do, very relevant and the course met my expectations
very well. On a CE Scheme
this involves doing reception work at various times.
The course was excellent in explaining fully the role of the
receptionist, e.g. information technology, personal appearance,
motivation, skills and attitude.
As a result of this course I have gained a much greater
knowledge and understanding of the role of the receptionist,
addressing people, relations with work colleagues, I.T. skills,
customer relations etc. and this has been a very beneficial course in
regards to my self-confidence as I would have no hesitation in
applying for a job as a receptionist now.
